Are you up for the challenge?
Pitching is not for the weak at heart. You will invest more time, more effort, more sweat, and way more tears than any other player on the field. Your practice doesn’t end after hitting and fielding. You will do drill, after drill, after drill, and then tomorrow you’ll do some more.
Along with a ridiculous amount of hard work, you have to have a good attitude. The team behind you will reflect your attitude. When situations get tuff, 1 out, runners on 2nd & 3rd, # 4 hitter up to bat, they look to you for leadership and confidence. When you can sense your team is down, pull them back up. Dig for a little something extra and get the out yourself with a strikeout. Show them that you're not giving up, and they won't either.
Good pitchers aren't measured by the number of strikeouts they rack up, but their ability to pull their team out of a jam and lead by example. Your ability to set the tone of the game and get your teammates to support you will determine your wins and losses, because you can't do it without them. So the next time you find yourself in one of those endless innings of errors and mishaps, take a step back and see what your attituted looks like.
I strive to instill confidence and leadership qualities in all of my students. It takes a special kind of person to be a pitcher: part athlete, part therapist, and part poker player. If you're up for the challenge, I encourage you to dedicate 3-4 days a week of intensive training. I assure you, it will be one of the most exhausting and rewarding things you will ever do in your life!

Strength Training
Ok, so I don't expect you to look like this, but I want you to feel like this. Confident, strong, and powerful, with a 'batters beware' attitude.
